    • Allows you to flash OS into one of the OS slots (requires 8kB OS ROM file currently under cursor)
  • Show MAP
    • Visible when MAP file is under cursor, shows its contents
  • Hide MAP mounts
    • Visible when MAP file is under cursor, sets referenced files to hidden for less clutter
  • Unhide MAP mounts
    • Visible when MAP file is under cursor, removes hidden attribute from files referenced in MAP
  • Save to MAP
    • Create a new MAP file, uses either mounted files (via TAB/SHIFT-number) or current file under cursor if there are no active mounts

  • Expand memory (PORTB)
    • Enables expanded memory, requires PBI or ECI cable connected. SUBCART allows you to select up to 1088kB total memory (64kB base + 1024kB), AVGCART goes up to 576kB. “Off” disables the functionality
  • Force 1088kB (AVGCART only)
    • Temporarily enable 1MB extmem support, works only for files that do not occupy cart's memory (ATR), powercycle is needed to return to selector. SUBCART doesn't have this option since it has enough internal memory to provide it automatically for all file types.
  • Expand memory (4MB Axlon) (SUBCART only)
    • AXLON style memory expansion
  • High-Speed SIO
    • Enables HSIO support for emulated disk drives, lets you select divisor (0 is the fastest).
  • HSIO method
    • PBI - uses OS NEWDEVICE support to provide HSIO access (needs ECI/PBI cable)
    • ROM - when OS slot in OS menu is set to Auto, it will force HSIO patched OS when ECI/PBI cable is present and ATR is being emulated
  • ATR method
    • Defaults to auto (AUT) which picks the most compatible method for emulating ATR files. Can be used to force specific method (SIO - SIO cable, PBI - PBI NEWDEVICE (PBI/ECI cable), SOS - patched Soft OS)
  • XEX loader
    • NEW - relocated to launch programs that load below $0800
    • OLD - original behavior (SUBCART before fw 0.12)
  • Enable selector on reset
    • When ECI/PBI cable is present, resetting Atari will automatically enable cart's browser. When disabled, left cart button press is required before doing reset to enable browser
  • Show letter shortcuts
    • When enabled, items will have alpha shortcuts prepended and A-X keys will launch them (otherwise they will start search)
  • Auto SIDE on power-on
    • On power-on cart won't launch its browser but will only enable emulated IDE ports (for use with U1MB)
  • Keep mounts
    • Returning to browser won't clear active mounts

This submenu lets you choose OS slot that the cart will force instead of built-in OS in your Atari machine. “Automatic” option will automatically force HSIO patched OS when ATR emulation is being used to allow HSIO to work (HSIO needs both OS and device support) if HSIO method is set to OS.

You can add your own OS image (16kB .ROM file) by putting it onto SD card and using “File→Flash to OS slot” menu item.

Shows various information including firmware version, what cables are being detected as connected and how some settings are currently configured

Run a random file, it will pick a file from the current directory or a directory under it. You can use CTRL-SHIFT-R upon returning to browser to jump to the file that was launched.
